The Raven features a man haunted both by memories of his lost love and an insidious bird that may be the harbinger of his doom.

In The Masque of the Red Death, Prince Prospero sequesters himself and fellow party guests away from the plague ravaging his country. The suffering outside the walls of his home are papered over by luxury and a never-ending celebration, but the wall between mortality and death runs thin even for the prince.

The Fall of the House of Usher has a family deeply pained by both their troubling ailments and the presumed sentience of their home, hungry as it is for their pain.

Now set in the Roaring Twenties, The Cask of Amontillado is a tale of vengeance sought in catacombs, elaborate plots, and a very premature burial.

For your listening pleasure and annual sense of grave, existential dread, the PMRP is New England’s best known source for live radio theater. Consider setting the mood for your holiday with our thoroughly horrifying hit.
